Seller's description

This 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S is one of 1068 examples built between 2004 and 2007. It is finished in paint-to-sample dark blue metallic over a sandstorm and navy blue interior. It now has 32k miles. Power is provided by a 5.9-liter V12 linked to an electro-hydraulically operated six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a Linn sound system, 19″ eleven-spoke wheels, heated power-adjustable front seats, and rear parking sensors. The wheels are mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sports. Original MSRP was $256,350.

The chassis was a first for Aston Martin and has been used in most of its models since. It consists of an aluminum tub with carbon-fiber front and rear subframes, carbon fiber A pillars, and carbon fiber center tunnel. Exterior equipment includes fog lights, hood and fender vents, and rear parking sensors.

The Vanquish S is a significant upgrade over the Vanquish built from 2002 to 2004. The S features a retuned 5.9 liter V-12 with revised engine mapping, cylinder heads, and fuel injectors compared to the plain Vanquish. Power grew to 520 h.p. and 425 lb. ft. of torque. The transmission, maligned in the first model, also received significant upgrades with much improved shifting and clutch life. The S also has a revised steering ratio, upgraded, stiffer suspension components, and shorter steering arms over the standard model. Stopping is handled by red-finished Aston Martin-branded calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners.

The car features a full leather interior covering dash, center tunnel and door panels. Front seats are power-adjustable and heated. The headliner is beige, quilted microsuede. Amenities include a Linn sound system, twin rear seats, navigation, a CD/cassette stereo, push-button ignition, automatic climate control, and a satellite radio receiver. The steering wheel is two-tone leather wrapped with column mounted paddle shifters. Instrumentation is black on white and includes a 210 mph speedometer, a 7k rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.

The car has had over $19,000 in recent repairs. Including new control arms, tie rods, sway bar links, and other suspension hardware. Also a major tune up including plugs, coil packs, intake gaskets, manifold gaskets, injector o-rings, and seals. Also the clutch and clutch slave cylinder, and transmission fluid are all new. The A/C has been recharged and blows ice cold. Tires are new Michelin Pilot Sports. The trunk (boot) lid struts have been replaced and the car has received a 4-wheel alignment.
Suspiciously low miles for the age.
Verify against the title's odometer history (Carfax). Rollback is rare but devastating.

Car is 10+ years old — budget for age-related maintenance.
Expect to replace within 2 years: tires, battery, hoses, possibly timing belt, water pump, suspension bushings.
